What is SM DIGI FARM?
SM DIGI FARM is the agriculture division of PT Supermedia Digital Utama. We do two things at once: we run a real working chili farm, and we build practical farm software. That combination matters — because every lesson from our fields becomes a feature in our app, and everything in our app gets tested on our fields first.
We believe Indonesian growers deserve tools that fit in their pocket, work on a weak signal, and speak their language — including words like "patek" and "kelentil". No theory from a meeting room. Just farming, recorded honestly.
A Real Farm
We plant, maintain, and harvest our own chili fields — every lesson that reaches you comes from the soil, not from a slide deck.
Farm Software
Our free web app helps farmers plan planting, track costs & profit per block, and check plant health with AI photo diagnosis.
Open Content
We document the journey openly on temantani.id and TikTok @smdigi.farm — the good seasons and the hard ones, both.
Ambal, Kebumen — Where We Grow
Our production fields are located in Ambal District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java. Our first planting started in February 2026, and as of November 2026 we have completed 20 harvest cycles — each one logged in our own farm app, from seed nursery through pemupukan to post-harvest sorting.
Twenty harvests means twenty experiments: different blocks, different weather, different problems. The numbers live in our farm software — so when we share what works, we can show the receipts.
How We Run the Farm
- Planting blocks with automatic day counters (HST)
- Cost & profit tracked per block (real HPP, not guesses)
- AI photo clinic for pests & disease — 23 conditions known
- Daily field logs, shared openly as content
Teman Cabe — Friends of Chili
Teman Cabe is our grower community: a home for chili farmers to swap field lessons, compare notes on pests and prices, and grow together with people who get it. We're currently polishing the platform, so it's still under maintenance. Follow us on Instagram and you'll be the first to know when the doors open.
